It's amazing how a filthy dumpster like this can produce such wonderful sweetness. I've loved this entire fill, but oh man, I just loved the fuller picture of the family dynamic you've painted here with Steve and Sam being home. I'm so invested in them now and I will be eagerly anticipating the prequel! If I tried quoting back all the things I loved we'd be here all day, but a few of the high points: Steve and Sam bugging Steve's shield so Bucky could listen to Teddy while he had his breakdown in his room, Teddy curling up with the shield and recognizing the vibranium in his sleep, Steve and Sam knowing what Bucky would need and just being there for him, and the way Bucky forced himself to stay strong for Teddy but let it happen once Steve and Sam were there to give him their strength. And that closing bit with Teddy bossing his daddies around about saying goodnights and I love you's, omg. Just adorable. <3
