(OP) it totally ruins the fantasy but actually assholes are pretty resilient and a gape like that would probably return to normal ish after a few hours. The person is probably relaxing as far as he can to maximise the effect. People who engage in extreme ass play a lot might have trouble controlling gas but as far as I know it doesn't have much impact on pooping for most people
