I sort of intended for all of Bucky's disastrous one-night stands to be decent-ish people at least, but quite bluntly put the problem is not with them.

And don't despair, I will probably steer this to a hopeful ending. Bucky will be loved, eventually. After lots of pain. If he allows it. And he might need a lot convincing.
