Appalled by HYDRA's isolation/creepy medical treatment of the Winter Soldier, a HYDRA agent/techie is assaulted by their conscience and refuses to wipe him. Instead, they save him from HYDRA and they ride off into the sunset somewhere civilian-infested and suburban. (Let's say either the WS isn't a big enough deal within HYDRA for them to go looking for him or techie knows what they're doing.)

So Bucky's trying to figure out how to be a person, maybe even have a social life, while becoming the focus of a one-agent trash party.

Things I would love:
+ dehumanizing aftercare
+ polarization between the public and private personas Bucky has to develop.
+ Reconnecting with Steve while this is going on.
