(op) I'd prefer that Steve be sexually attracted to Bucky, but otherwise YES - if Steve ultimately decides that the redemption narrative can for once go fuck itself; that the Asset's agency, while admittedly circumscribed, is real; that "this is really it" and the Asset isn't going to recover any further; and that the best option is to just go ahead and choke himself on the Asset's cock like they both want him to, I am totally down for him feeling martyred while he does it. ;)
