Extreme insomnia

Post HYDRA, Bucky cannot sleep. No matter how many times he works out to the point of collapsing, no matter how few calories he's getting to even keep him alive let alone provide energy, he can't. He's starting to think that the only way he can ever go to sleep again is if he electrocutes himself into exhaustion or sleeps in an industrial sized freezer. He's even researched how to go about purchasing one or more items which might lead to just that. Within a week he's hallucinating, nodding off everywhere only to wake up a second later with the shakes.

Bonus points if he ends up ridiculously addicted to various drug concoctions to help him sleep. Then he ends up over-sleeping ALWAYS, spending most of his days asleep or on the brink of and starts to lose grip of the line between reality, the numbness of slumber without dreams, and his varied dream worlds.

He develops sleep anxiety, slowly but surely, as he begins to realize that a part of him dreads waking up more than anything he's ever feared before. He doesn't want to live in the real world, but every time he wakes up, he's taking from himself what he so deeply wants and is therefore scared of going to sleep because of the pain that comes with waking.

Apologies if this doesn't make complete sense...
