Not sure how exactly it would play out, but I was thinking about this idea: post-WS Bucky remembers the abuse (often brutal, painful, degrading and sexual), but he can't acknowledge to himself he's a victim because of the awful things he did, even if coerced.
In the sense that - why would you feel sad if a serial killer was raped or tortured? Most people would cheer that on.
I guess I'm looking for something with a lot of self-loathing and denial, until it actually comes to the point where he can't really function anymore from repressed trauma and breaks down (preferably in the arms of someone kind).
