I found this last night and got stuck on the idea of "alien queenthing uses mental manipulation to keep their mates happy" so like, Bucky thinks it's Steve who's filling him with eggs and taking care of him and stuff. (Logically, Bucky thinks the babies are adorable human-ish babies.)

And then Steve rescues Bucky, except Bucky doesn't realise that facehugger!Steve has been replaced by real!Steve and can't work out why Steve isn't as affectionate and doesn't immediately try to make more babies after the birth or play with his children or anything any more. And Steve's just really, really freaked out by the whole thing.
