R i g h t? With Scott, whom Sam clearly likes and who looks up to Sam in but who Sam's probably sort of driven to impress after their fight, there. With Wanda, the baby of the family, there. With certified original Avenger Clint Barton there. And oh god you're right, I forgot Sam threw himself on this particular sword, in terms of being here without Steve or Bucky. Plus this whole infighting mess - as sure as Sam is of his position, it was probably nice to know that he'd gotten into this via a pretty straightforward battle against outright evil and won. So to have that victory used against him, I am just saying. There could be maximum damage inflicted.
