Thank you, one of the reasons this took so long to write was because I needed to convey to the reader exactly how brutal and horrifying it was while our narrator also hallucinated. And Sam is a great person to drag into this dumpster because a capable and emotionally savvy guy, but he wasn't prepared for this. (Plus you will not believe how invested I got in Sam and Bucky's now-shattered domestic life while writing this).
