I, too, am picturing him holding that teddy bear for his own comfort. But maybe it's a good thing that Bucky gave it to him. Maybe it's more like a, "see? I don't need it anymore." (I know that can't possibly be the case but one can hope.)

AA, I adore you for writing this and taking it places I hadn't really imagined it would go. I really just wanted more infantilism but this is much more and I love it.
