Extra week-old coffee grounds and a crown of rotting banana peels if their dynamic is similar to what we see in Civil War--she's latched onto him as a mentor or even an older-brother figure, he's comfortable enough in that role to open up and let her see some of his vulnerabilities if it'll help her, they've got a surprising amount of shared life experience. She clearly looks up to him a bit and he's fiercely protective of her. It just makes the entire situation so much more horrifying for both of them.
