>Ok, I just read the whole thing and I have to say how amazing it is.
Thank you! I welcome you with open arms to this filthy little dumpster corner! It pleases me that you find the trash to your liking!
>I love that it's written from the Asset's POV, but we can still see the glimpses of how awful it is for Steve.
I try, thank you for noticing. It's a good thing the Asset doesn't though, right?
>I think my favourite thing, and by favourite I mean "the one that shatters my heart into a million tiny pieces", is how hopeful he gets when Bucky almost calls him by his name.
OMG! It warms my heart to hear you say that, and by warms I mean "wraps it up in a garrote wire and sets it on fire", it means more than I can say that you noticed that little thing!
Yes, the Asset was so out of it from the wonderful things Handler Rogers was doing to it that it completely lost itself, it does not know why it almost used Handler Rogers's name so casually. How embarrassing!
>I think you did a wonderful job capturing the Asset's mind, and I also love reading your comments regarding the whole process and the other Avengers, it's great to have that insight into the author's mind.
You flatter me too much! I'm glad you appreciate my random rambling responses.
Is there anything in particular you would like to know more about?
I'd be happy to tell you about anything, I have quite a lot of things planned out surrounding this fic, the avengers' opinions on the whole situation, headcanons about Steve's and Bucky's past, etc. But a lot of the "lore" is also spawned in the moment as I write it, though I try to stay consistent.
>Also, I'm thirding the request to post it on AO3 so I can bookmark it :D
Well, I guess I better get started then, wouldn't want to disappoint all these lovely people! ;P
