For me, I love that unfinished one on pg 15 where Bucky can't come without permission. Something about losing themselves but the other being an anchor or a solution somehow. Besides that, I'm for grudging consent/no consent, and the ones where WS is living in constant fear of something that's not going to happen (like the one where he's terrified because he accepted help and thinks he's going to have to pay for it). Better if Steve's inconsolable.

That petplay one with the female doctor and the table (you know the one I mean) was amazing. But seriously, Blood From A Stone - and chapter 2 up on a03 - is like my ultimate come back and reread. Never give up against all odds, the spectacular realization of who the WS is, and then *Saam.*
