I've been managing a general Cap-fandom IRC channel of late (http://eatingcroutons.tumblr.com/post/101797858116/cap-fandom-chatroom-anyone) and it's been a lot of fun! A trash party-specific channel on the same server could actually be a good idea, as some of the regulars on the general channel aren't big fans of trash party fare. I've just registered #hydratrashparty if people want to use it - see the instructions in the above post to join in, just replace #wienersoldier with #hydratrashparty.

And of course everyone is welcome to come hang out on #wienersoldier any time they like, for a broader range of flailing over nonagenarian super soldiers :3

Same anon: I like IRC for this sort of thing because it's a fixed location people can drop in and out of whenever's convenient, and because you can choose whatever moniker you like to identify yourself if you prefer not to share your Tumblr/other identity - but if others have other suggestions I am totally up for any kind of chatting with fellow trash mongers.

May I suggest we pick a specific time to try this? (Not that people can't do it other times, of course.) But I'd like to drop by when others are there too! Probably not this week, though, in light of USian holidays.

yeah i feel like a vague sort of time or day would be nice-- especially because of time zones and whatnot, it'd be great if we could sort out a time when at least you know there will be some ppl around

AYRT: So far it's been busiest in the evenings US time. Coordinating something with other timezones is tricky, and probably impossible during the week. If people sleep between roughly 1am and 8am, and have weekday commitments from around 8am to 6pm, here's what the situation looks like:

The boxed hours could be a good time to get most people together on weekends. (Sorry Australians.) If people are around today we could try 12pm USA west/3pm USA east/8pm UK?
