Chatter post

For all your discussion needs.

Ground rules:
- Try to keep it loosely trash party related, or at least Cap fandom related.
- Disagreement is fine, nastiness is not.
- Being offended is not carte blanche for nastiness.
- Trashmeme ground rules apply. Read at your own risk, no romanticizing your noncon garbage, no wank about the moral acceptability of noncon kink.
- Body shots, sniper shots, and tetanus shots are all available at the open bar. Party like it's 2014, kids.

This is glorious, and as Murphy's creator I can confirm he is vegetarian.

Thank you, and thanks for confirming that Murphy is vegetarian plus suggesting the fics/names I'd missed (sorry!). I've added the extra information to the document. :)

As for Karpov, I decided not to include him the first time around because Vasily Karpov is an existing character in the original Earth-616 comic (introduced in Captain America vol. 5 #5) even if he doesn't exist in MCU (yet). I'm not sure where the line is drawn between OC and fanon characterisation (is Jack Rollins an OC created by the fandom, considering he has less than ten words of dialogue and basically no canon characterisation in CA:TWS? Is ace!Rollins an OC?); in the end I decided to include only 1) genuinely original characters whose names weren't drawn from the existing Marvel comic gallery as far as I knew, and 2) whose creation could be attributed to HYDRA trash party attendees.

However, I can change my inclusion criteria if you think Karpov belongs on the list? :)

Ah, okay. I was completely oblivious to the fact that there was a 616 Karpov (even though, looking back, I'm pretty sure I've read comics containing him, so perhaps my subconscious recalled him). Your reasoning makes perfect sense.
