The links to the Tumblr drama are linked above. There was also drama exploding after someone made a group-hug post that was then sabotaged by the same HTP-naysayer. The gist of the whole drama is: a HTP naysayer went on some kind of moral crusade in the HTP tag on tumblr. At least one person was hurt by the comments (such as the OP in the first link) while others were just giving out group hugs (second link) but the naysayer still attacked them.

(that's probably not the best summary, but these two links should tell you everything.)

I really don't get. The whole "Somebody is wrong on the internet!" thing. Don't explain it. I know the reasons and motivations. I can just recommend taking a step back and chill out.
