I thought about posting in that threat but didn't, but mpreg squicks me right out as well. I think it's because I have such a visceral "NO NEVER" reaction to the idea of pregnancy in real life, to the point that I can't even stand it in fiction. On the other hand, I do enjoy self-lubrication, which as you noted tends to go hand-in-hand with mpreg.
