OK, the latter is what Google Translate gives for "...obey", so it's nice to know that's not completely off the rails.

But what he actually says in the film is "Я готов отвечать"? That sounds about right from what I remember hearing, but memory of a language one doesn't speak is not the most reliable. :)

Yeah, that's it :)
Funny fact of the day - in Russian version even the originally Russain phrases were redubbed, so instead of "Я готов отвечать" we got "Я жду приказаний" (V'z jnvgvat sbe beqref). And I have no explanations for it.

That's odd, though in context it makes just as much sense. Sounds a little less robotic to my ear, though.
