I was on the verge of asking the same thing, and you've worded this well. It's strange to me to see people acting like nonsexual prompts are a recent phenomenon, or as though that content is somehow going to "drive out" the traditional non-con. Judging by how many people got involved in the argument, this seems like a point that's needed ironing out for some time.
