(Anonymous) 2015-02-10 06:07 pm (UTC)(link)Sure, to avoid Bucky being too OOC, we can always say Zola fucked with his head and there was a failsafe to make sure his murderous creations could never turn against him - but Bucky wouldn't know about that, and neither would Steve, at least at first.
Therefore, the fallout would be a nightmare, Steve half mad with hurt and betrayal, and Bucky, brimming with self-loathing, greedily sucking up everything Steve throws at him because yes, this, he always knew.
