fave non-trash chats/comms/places

don’t get me wrong: i love this place with all my rotten little heart. but sometimes a girl wants something other than dirtybad rape porn. (usually that something involves zombies, but that's beside the point.)

so where do you go to get your non trash cap fix? are there any other communities or circles i should know about, for recs, inspiration, and general discussion? particularly, any as well-managed and even-keeled as this one?

there’s tumblr, of course, but i find it all a little overwhelming in its scope, and fandom circles tend to be kind of clique-y with their weird interpersonal politics. i personally vibe much better with, say, an open chat, or a forum/kinkmeme like this one.

i hear people recommend other kinkmemes from time to time but every time i check them out they’re either (a) wildly inactive or (b) wildly broad in interest and unpleasant to plod through.

any thoughts/recs? thanks in advance.

Theoretically there's still Avengerkink, even if it's a lot slower, but no one filled any of my prompts on the last three years or so, so it's stopped being funny for me to keep participating. Well, no one filled any of my prompts here either, regrettably.

Now I do AO3 gift exchanges to get to prompt and fill my favorite MCU stuff, of both the trashy and romantic kinds.

I can rec you Avengers Fest, a gift exchange about anything MCU (Marvel comics and other canons are optional), it's great because it's hand matched and mods try to assign participants who appear having compatible likes and dislikes and and at least a pairing in common.
