Well I imagine Bucky's totally used to humiliation at this point, in fact he constantly expects it, so what if he finds the praise and reassurance he gets from hallucination!Steve so shockingly good it's addictive? He starts to crave being raped because then he gets to see that beautiful boy who strokes his hair and tells him he's going to be all right if he can just get through the pain.

But then, because the hallucination is coming out of Bucky's own fucked-up brain, it starts to say things that are not so much encouraging him to get through it, but to *enjoy* it. "You're taking it so well," "such a good slut for me," etc etc. So eventually Bucky gets really into the rape, not just because he gets to see "Steve" but because "Steve" is dirty talking in his ear. And this is the part he really remembers afterwards.

So after, when Bucky is starting to recover, he tells Steve about the rape (with emphasis on exactly how many guys, how large of toys, for what period of time, etc) and he expects Steve to praise him for how much he took and enjoyed. (Steve, obviously, does not)

OP here. I like the way you think, anon. The aftermath would be so terrible for *both* of them.

And if Bucky becomes addicted to the hallucination telling him nice things, he'd start trying to get the handlers to rape him. But then, maybe "Steve" doesn't show up if he's trying to seduce the handlers, only if it's unexpected and frightening.

Maybe then, when Bucky's starting to recover and Steve doesn't praise him for talking about how "good" he was when being raped, he thinks it's because he's not supposed to initiate the discussion. Maybe he's just supposed to be good for the others and wait for Steve someone else to fuck him, and *then* Steve will praise him again.

I agree! I much prefer the angle of Skinny Steve as like this motivator/inspirational rape coach xD Like "You can do it, pal. You're almost done" etc. Even better if Skinny Steve comments on the rapists in ways that exhibit the WS's private thoughts but things he would never dare say out loud like "That guy has the tiniest prick I've ever seen! It'll probably only tickle!"
