Handfeeding! Bucky turning his mouth away from Rumlow's hand, and maybe Rumlow forces his jaw open and kisses his cheek while he chokes it down, or maybe he waits until Bucky's too starving to refuse.

This is amazing?? Plus now I am imagining that Rumlow just fucked Bucky from the bottom, and now they're lying like that as Rumlow's come dribbles out of him. Rumlow strokes Bucky's hair and back, occasionally grabbing his shackled wrists if he starts to struggle too much, eventually stroking down to Bucky's waist and ass before dipping his fingers into his used hole. Slowly, gradually, with little breaks where he's just resting his fingers inside Bucky, he fingerfucks Bucky to another orgasm.

Also please consider that upon Bucky's rescue he could have: black eyes; bruises around his mouth from the gag; serious ligature marks on his wrist and ankles, and/or friction blisters from shackles; needle puncture wounds clustered on his arm, thighs and neck; bruises, lash marks, knife marks, bite marks, bootprints and handprints all over his body; hickeys; and yet be very clean and groomed, because Rumlow has been caretaking him.

Or he has no markings on his face but all of the bruises, etc, are on his body because Rumlow didn't want to mark up his 'pretty face.' :P

Nonny, you are an artist.

Also, imagine the aftercare! Of course, all Steve wants to do is hold Bucky's hand, rub Bucky's back when he's recovering from a nightmare, massage Bucky's prosthetic joint when it hurts him, but now he CAN'T because every gentle touch just reminds Bucky of when Rumlow would do the exact same thing. Steve can't even help Bucky recover like he wants to, when Bucky flinches away from any "loving" contact.

Ohh, I really like the implication here that Rumlow did shit like soothe Bucky after a nightmare. Yeah, let's talk about Rumlow taking care of recovering!Bucky during his latest captivity. idk if it works with how drugged Bucky would have to be, but Rumlow could even steal whatever meds he's supposed to be on -- to combat anxiety, intrusive imagery, etc. Sure, Bucky's recovered and stable enough to have been willing to work with and talk to Rumlow in the first place, but that doesn't mean his trauma is gone, duh, and it might manifest especially in such a stressful situation. Rumlow creepily helping Bucky through a panic attack??

I also like the idea that in the aftermath certain issues, phobias, or triggers that Bucky might have successfully wrestled down would redevelop -- or wholly new ones would appear. Or both. Both is good.

Ooh man, the possibilities with this! What if Bucky was still working through a lot of trauma, so he's still getting occasional flashbacks from his time with hydra? So he gets one (or more) while he's with Rumlow, and it's some horrible memory of a gang bang or torture session or Bucky being forced to kill a kid, and when Bucky comes out of it his old handler is RIGHT THERE in his face, kissing him and petting him. It's like Bucky never even escaped, but he NEEDS to deal with whatever memory just came back to him and Rumlow is the only option so he ends up crying/panic attacking into Rumlow's lap. Rumlow is only making things worse because his creepy touching makes the memory so much more jarring, and stops Bucky from being able to process it like he should.

Yes to all of this! I am super into Bucky, despite staying strong and not breaking for Rumlow and hating him, still needing him for certain things while he's captive -- and it is so evil to make emotional comfort one of those things! I can picture Bucky shaking in the wake of some attack, and struggling so badly when Rumlow tries to comfort him that he injures his wrists in their shackles, but eventually having to collapse into Rumlow's arms and accept the soothing and the stroking and if he closes his eyes he can pretend it's someone else.

I am also still stuck on the particular image of Rumlow giving Bucky shoulder rubs. Everything about that -- the implied intimacy, that Rumlow knows Bucky's muscles knot up supporting the prosthetic; the delightfully terrible juxtaposition of comfort in a non-con situation; the mindfuckery of a captor going above and beyond to fulfill his captive's needs; beautiful. I can picture more things along those lines, like, what if Bucky has special dietary requirements? And Rumlow knows this from his years spent working with the asset. So, of course, he takes care to supply Bucky with things he can actually eat, like custom nutritional shakes or normal food but only certain types. And when Bucky is rescued, his rescuers, also aware of his food issues, were expecting to find him in some state of starvation, but he's just... fine. He's not even hungry when he's rescued. He just had lunch.

His favorite lunch. That Steve was planning to make when they all got home to celebrate, but now... just not the same.

AGH yes! Bucky just absolutely terrified after waking up from a nightmare, and at first he keeps jerking away from Rumlow trying to comfort him, but he's so worn-down and Rumlow is so persistent that he finally just gives in to it because he might as well take what comfort he can. (Even though it's tearing him up inside. He needs someone, but he's trying not to cry from feeling his rapist's hands on him -- it disgusts him but it feels so good to be taken care of after the memory of being stomped on so hard he vomited blood)

Ooh what if Rumlow even knew more about Bucky's needs than Steve and the Avengers?? Steve has been trying so hard to make Bucky as comfortable as possible, and is making all his favorite foods and rubbing his shoulders and everything, and Bucky appreciates it so much. EXCEPT. Rumlow knows the exact place to press to relax Bucky's aching shoulders, and knows what foods are too rich for his stomach. So in some weird ways he's better than Steve, simply because he's been handling the Winter Soldier for too long.

After he's rescued, he hates himself for missing Rumlow.
