I haven't read the story and I'm not going to because I know my limits...and I'd like to make a request for the post on AO3: would you mind editing the summary and notes so the full awfulness doesn't appear in the summary and so, on the list page, please? I mean, if you tag it HTP and so on, people would know, and with a very brief summary, the detailed prompt could then be included in the notes instead? Sorry to have to ask :-( but you have no idea how much this freaked me out. (I couldn't decide whether it'd be rude to ask on the AO3 post itself, so I came back here... I am a dumpster denizn but this is a little too far for me, sorry)

I have sort of mixed feelings about that, because I feel like - well, because it's an awful story, there should be a summary so that people know what they're getting into?

I don't necessary have an issue with changing it, in itself, but I also don't want upset people on AO3 because of the other reason.

Eh, anyone have ideas about that?

I appreciate that, very much. It's weird because usually I'm fine with the worst things in fiction but somehow this just made me hyperventilate so I guess you never know! I mean, I already knew I didn't like body horror, but I'd no idea this would affect me so much.
