If you didn't want to do a recovery angle you could always write about the creation of the videos or Hydra agents sharing them among each other. I've seen the idea of an intranet for Hydra in fanfics

I really love the image of this lush, opulent (maybe even an old castle?) building set up as a best of Hydra type museum with a special room dedicated to WS porn and/or kills.

I'm technically cool with writing that, though I'm not really familiar with him in the comics, and I sort of decided for myself I'm going to hold off until after the movie so I'm not always comparing the two.

So I guess I could do his castle, but I don't really feel I could write him as character very well. Unless characterization doesn't matter all that much to you? Or you want to give some not-too-spoilery pointers?

I just had a horrible (by which I mean delightful) thought:

What is Steve CANNOT burn it down?

I mean, all those videos dating back to the 1940's: It's got faces, location, maybe even people alluding casually to missions; It's basically evidence, and a valuable tool in tracking down Hydra agents and safe-houses.

This also means that someone will have to sift through days worth of viewing material of filth. And Steve might not want anyone else to see.

So he just might have to do it on his own, and curse his dick if it reacts.

Btw, where is Bucky in this? Has he been reunited with Steve? Are the romantically involved? Does he know about this?
