Pre-TWS Rumlow/Steve trash, later rape-roleplay+aftercare kink

So Steve and Rumlow hooked up once pre-TWS. Steve was expecting some friendly no-strings fuckbuddy sex; instead, Rumlow was fucking brutal with him, grinning all the while and treating it like normal work-hard-play-hard rough-sex fun, ignoring Steve's protests or goading him into enduring it with jibes like "it's just so nice to let loose with someone who can take it, you know? I'm sick of fucking people I have to handle like they're made of glass."

Afterwards Steve lies there bruised and bleeding and feeling like utter shit; he might not realize the full significance of Rumlow not listening whenever Steve told him to stop, but he went in looking for mutual pleasure and instead he got brutalized and used. As if that's not embarrassing enough, once he dozes off his dreams are full of the most blatant comfort fantasies: Peggy (who he still hasn't worked up the nerve to go visit since waking up in the 21st century) and Bucky (who he still thinks is dead) finding him, patching him up, curling up with him for some slow tender sex, seeking out all his sore spots with gentle hands and touching him the way he actually wants to be touched.

The trashy kicker: much later, post-TWS, Steve is in a happy relationship with Bucky, who's got all sorts of sexual hangups of his own and likes to be in control in bed. After various other kinky exploits, they end up roleplaying a violent rape fantasy, and Steve loves it--he's shocked how hard it gets him off to have Bucky hold him down and deliberately hurt him. But he doesn't consciously make the connection until it's over, and Bucky is kissing him and gently cleaning him up, and Steve is mortified to find himself close to tears.

He's as flippant and self-deprecating as possible about the explanation--ha ha what a sad-sack reaction to a terrible hook-up. But it becomes a semi-regular thing afterwards: intense, brutal rape roleplay followed by disgustingly tender aftercare, basically dealing with the embarrassment by making a kink out of the comfort side of the hurt/comfort equation as well as the hurt side.
