I love Bucky's PoV here, how certain he is that the devil will come for him and drag him back to hell, and how at the moment he sees himself as so irredeemable that he just wants to see Steve before he gets dragged back to hell. Also, the detail about how he tried to escape once when he believed he was only in purgatory, because he was too ashamed to understand that he was in hell: ouch my heart.

The arm, clearly broken and hurting him, but he thinks he's still in some kind of fighting shape and needs the arm because he'll have to keep fighting and killing people. Oh honey, no. (But also, oh yes)
The fever from the clearly infected arm reminding him of the times they experimented with different levels of branding!!
Have I mentioned I'm excited about this? Because I am.
