Dumpster #3: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch

Holy shitballs, look at us go. Welcome to Captain America fandom's resident wretched hive of scum and villainy: ROUND THREE. AKA Bad Guys Do Dirtybadwrong Things To Your Faves, AKA the Hydra Trash Party kinkmeme. As usual, BLANKET NON-CON AND NSFW WARNINGS apply: just assume going in that everything in this landfill is unfit for human consumption.

Rules in brief: don't be a jerk except to fictional characters, warnings for particularly fucked-up garbage are nice but not required, thou shalt not judge the trashiness of thy neighbor's kinks unless thy neighbor is trying to pass off their rotting banana peels and half-eaten pizza crusts as a healthy romantic dinner for two, off-topic comments may be chucked out of the dumpster at management's discretion, management's discretion decrees that omegaverse, soulbond AUs, D/s-verse, non-superpowered AUs, and dark!good guys AUs are off-topic.

[Round 1] [Round 2] [Fill post] [Chatter post] [hydratrashmeme Pinboard archive (maintained by [personal profile] greenkirtle)] [Round 3 in flat view (comments in non-threaded chronological order, most recent last)]

Round 3 is closed; comments and fills in existing threads are still welcome, but all new prompts go to Round 4.

Oh gosh, I love all the subtle differences between Bucky being Steve and Steve being Bucky. <3333 And they way they're trying to read each other through the body and tonal differences, but it's complicated by that layer of how they think about the other -- Steve feeling ashamed for mistreating Bucky's body, and Bucky being like "Steve would never stoop this low."

And the moment with the "Behave" line -- so brilliant, showing both its mental and physical effects, spread across 2 people. <3333

Excited about the horrible badwrong sex that's coming up! :DDDDDD

Also: Bucky being totally willing to deal with all the compliant rape stuff when it was him assigned to do it, but once the bodyswap happens, he's like "no, Steve's too pure and too good for this, gotta go save him from being me." And like, completely scraps the plan. These 2 self-sacrificial grandpas, I can't even.

Knuckleheads, for sure. But you know the second Bucky realized what was going on with the swap, he nope'd out of the original plan. Must! Save! Steve!

One thing that's really exciting about this whole bodyswap business is that hopefully they will see each other to be stronger and more resilient after they get out -- after all, Steve has proven to Bucky that he's willing to endure a lot for the mission and for Bucky. And Bucky has proven that he's survived and recovered from a lot more than Steve'd thought...

(Basically I am imagining sweet grandpa hugs right now) :DDD

It's hard to maintain your cover and also try to communicate any kind of idea or plan to your boyfriend while also in a precarious life-or-death situation. I am so glad you are enjoying their mutual shame!
