OMG I can imagine Steve and Bucky being in adjacent cells or whatever, and they take turns taking Steve and Bucky out for "sessions". And every time Bucky comes back, he sounds a little more grim and drawn out when they try to talk across the cell walls, and Steve's worried, but -- I mean, Steve's getting beaten up and stuff, but it's not *that* bad, is it? Is it that Bucky's body can't take as much? But Bucky's just like "it's nothing." And maybe Steve knows Bucky's hiding something, but the best thing he could do is try to get out.

And in the mean time, Bucky's just desperately trying to keep the HYDRA goons entertained. Because he knows that both of them are at their mercy, and once the goons are bored, there's nothing he can do to stop Bad Things from happening to Steve. "Hey guys want to see how many times you can tase my dick before I pass out?"

Yessss, that sounds amazing. And, what if Bucky'd lied about most of his first HYDRA experience, not just the trash part? Maybe he was like Yeah, they made me do horrible things, but once the brainwashing was complete I was a valuable asset and they mostly treated me with respect. Because hell if he's ever going to tell Steve the humiliating truth. So when they're thrown in their miserable, wet cells with no water to wash up, or when some guard jokingly calls Bucky "it", he pretends to have no idea what's gotten into them.

And, and. Steve in his anger and helplessness doesn't give an inch, so when the guard tells him to kiss his boots to earn dinner or something, he says stupid things like that he'd never sink so low, and Bucky's done that a hundred times and files everything Steve says under "what he'd think about me if he knew".

Also, how about when the HYDRA goons actually do get bored, they give Steve a nice live broadcast of Bucky begging for Steve's safety, probably with a stun stick up his ass. :)

Oh shit that is the most horrible/amazing idea ever. Either that or Steve finally manages to break out and goes to the room to rescue Bucky and finds him kitted out for puppy play or whatever and there's that moment where Steve just can't process that it's Bucky, while Bucky just takes in the horror on Steve's face and is like "leave me alone I'm filth that's not worthy of rescue." Anyways EVERYONE shattering into a million little pieces before they punch their way out and have lots of crying and holding.

It's so horrible yet I love this. And eventually the HYDRA goons start to wise up to it and make hints that they're going to do the same to Steve if Bucky doesn't cooperate or allow them to debase him even further. Or Bucky himself offers to do things "willingly" if it means keeping their lusts off of Steve.
