Dumpster #4: I Don't See How That's a Party

Okay, kids, you know the drill. Don't be a jerk except to fictional characters. Warn if you want, but read at your own risk, because [community profile] hydratrashmeme is about as far from a safe space as you can get. Garbage we like: noncon, whump, aftermath, violence, mind control, inappropriate uses of Bucky Barnes' metal arm, bad guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves. Garbage you should find a different trashcan for: a/b/o, D/s-verse, soulbonds, mundane AUs, OOC evil!good guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves, rotting leftovers dressed up as a romantic gourmet meal. Nothing wrong with 'em, but this isn't the crowd you should be pitching to if you're trying to sell Brock Rumlow as anything but a human dumpster fire.

Link your fills on the fill post, post unprompted fills as replies to a header comment so the wall o' text is collapsible, and let me know if you're interested in helping out with the Pinboard archive.

[Rules in full] [Round 1] [Round 2] [Round 3] [Fill post] [Chatter post] [hydratrashmeme Pinboard archive (maintained by [personal profile] greenkirtle)] [Round 4 in flat view (comments in non-threaded chronological order, most recent last)]

All prompts or fills that contain Infinity War spoilers must go on the Infinity War spoiler post until May 26th. Spoilers in the main dumpsters will be deleted.

Round 4 is closed; comments and fills in existing threads are still welcome, but all new prompts go to Round 5.

Bucharest trash

(Anonymous) 2017-06-16 10:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Surprised we don't have more of this...I don't know the exact timeline of the mcu, but I'm assuming a fair amount of time passed between WS and CW; many months if not a year or two, right?

So Bucky's been in Bucharest for a while and is slowly dealing with his trash past (gaining back memories, journaling etc.). What I'd love to see is him trying to process it all alone. Most of the aftermath/recovery fics have him leaning on Steve or the team as a whole, but not when he's all alone in that sad apartment, trying (and failing) to come to terms with what happened while utterly devoid of any sort of support system.

+ serious PTSD: flashbacks, triggers, anxiety attacks
++ major paranoia that Hydra will find him again, trips outside are really difficult, maybe trying to lockdown the apartment
+++ wickedly bad, realistic nightmares of the worst of his trash past, and then waking up panicked and alone
++++ just generally being lonely and desperate for human contact/touch/support, but simultaneously being too traumatized to seek any help or reach out to Steve

There's a few chapters of this story that deal with Bucky in Bucharest by himself. It's part of a longer story, but I think this part of it is relevant to your interests.

Re: USO Party Favor Stevs

(Anonymous) 2017-06-17 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
omg I love this idea that Steve's idea of sex is bundled up with him being Captain America -- like, does he spend most of his time with SHIELD wondering when Fury's gonna order him to sex someone up?

Re: USO Party Favor Stevs

(Anonymous) 2017-06-17 01:50 am (UTC)(link)
Omg! With Tony's contributions to SHIELD and bankrolling the Avengers, what does Steve probably start off thinking Tony expects in return? Does Steve get nervous every time Tony and Pepper aren't doing well? Does he prepare as best he can just in case the latest charity gala or similar event goes the way he was taught to expect? There have been some fics with Bucky doing that, if I recall correctly.

Sorry, OP, not trying to hijack your prompt. I'm all in favor of focusing on the WWII-era trash.

...would the USO girls be involved at all? Private shows? You know, to make the whole thing less insert period-typical homophobia. I'm sure Steve would volunteer to spare them an awful lot. Some of them might even be Hydra or Leviathan agents playing damsel in distress to get Steve in over his head...

Re: USO Party Favor Stevs

OP

No worries, nonnie, I want all the Steve trash in all possible iterations!

And now I want Tony and/or Pepper to be surprised by how knowledgeable Steve is about Stark Industries. Because Steve knows he shouldn't be so nervous, he knows that he can take it, it's his duty...but he can't help obsessively tracking SI's stock market value anyway.

Or Tony asking Steve to schmooze with a particular person as a favor and Steve taking this as instructions to slip back into his old role. And Tony never figures out what happens but [thing he wanted to happen and thought Steve buttering up person to help along] happens the very next day, and he's delighted by how charming Steve can apparently be and decides to request his help more often. (And is of course horrified when he realises what was actually happening.)

Or for Pierce to know what happened 70 years ago and use it to his advantage. Steve thinks he's being made to have sex to fill SHIELD's coffers, and SHIELD is Peggy's organization and he's doing some good (even if he has doubts, but then so does everyone occasionally right?) and he's doubly messed up when the HYDRA reveal happens and he realizes who he was financing with his body.

And yessss, Steve volunteering to spare the showgirls, because he can take a lot more punishment than them and because he doesn't have to worry about his virtue being impugned. Especially the secret agent playing up her distress at the proceedings.

In conclusion: I like how you think.

Fill 26/?: Undeniable Plausibility

(Anonymous) 2017-06-17 01:52 pm (UTC)(link)

The flight home didn't take too long, a fact for which Steve was incredibly grateful. He sat next to the asset, his right hand in its left resting together on Steve's right thigh, and tried to endure the continued ribbing from the rest of the team with good grace. He probably could've pulled free if he'd tried hard enough, but not without doing it further damage. Hurting the asset was the last thing he wanted to do. Actually, he was already doing the last thing he'd ever wanted to do don’t think about it so the least he could now was try not to hurt it more.

"So how about those women? What did you do to them, Cap?" Rumlow needled.

Steve ducked his head in barely-exaggerated embarrassment. Like it or not, Steve needed to make his own contributions to the team's growing intimacy. He had to convince them he was one of them, that he'd be willing to consider HYDRA. Steve admitted, "I turned the headboard into splintered firewood and the girls both ended up too sore and bruised to perform the next day.”

"Oh, I bet they were…"

"To perform in the USO show!" he clarified, neck and ears heating to match his face.

He wondered what the asset felt about being forced to hold his hand like this. He flexed his fingers against unresponsive metal. Was it in pain? Was it afraid he'd hurt or damage it again? Could it take any comfort in a human touch? Would it be wary of him again the next time he saw it? The thought ached. It’s not Bucky. He didn't want the asset afraid of him. He could imagine it was a twin now and keep them mostly separate as long as he didn't see its face. The instant it made a familiar expression, Steve's every instinct screamed that he was looking at Bucky.Don’t think about it. He hadn't slipped as much this time.

Honestly, he wasn't quite sure what to think about that. Was it a good sign that he was adapting to a way of thinking about the Winter Soldier that made working with it easier? Did it mean he was letting the campaign of dehumanization get to him? Steve didn't want to become the roll he was performing.

He would always remember performing for the troops in Europe after doing the show stateside for months. The shock of realizing he'd let himself get almost comfortable with the role he'd been forced into.

He'd never wanted to be that person.

Don’t think about it. Focus on your present mission. It only feels like failure.

“Hey. Rogers. Cap. You still with us?”

Steve blinked and raised his head to find Rumlow frowning at him. Most of the rest except Rollins had drifted toward the other end of the jet and were talking quietly. Fuck. He'd missed something.

“Yeah,” he said, “mostly.” Don't lie. “Guess I'm more tired than I thought.”

If Rumlow's concern was fake, he deserved an award for his acting. “You sleeping okay?”

Liars and killers, all of us. That’s the job, Steve. Accept that before someone can use it to break you.

No, Steve wasn't. He hadn't been even before he'd agreed to try to worm his way into HYDRA, but the stress of being a spy was getting to him. Don't lie. “No, but that's nothing new.” He mustered a shrug, slightly awkward while holding the asset’s hand, and summoned a rueful smile. “Goes with the territory. I'm fine.” He lifted the Winter Soldier’s hand again. “Besides, it's not like I can bow out early.”

Rollins chuckled while Rumlow just smirked and shook his head.

“Yeah, that hand needs looking at soon as we get back,” agreed Rumlow.

“You'll need that sense of humor with the tech team,” Rollins warned him. “Seen any of the Bond movies?”

Natasha, no, Romanoff, had told him not to bother with them. A couple Wikipedia pages and some YouTube clips will tell you all you need to know, she'd said. “I saw Skyfall,” Steve said. “I don't get the obsession. Or the relevance.”

“Q hates when field agents like Bond don't bring their toys back in good shape,” Rollins told him. “Now think about what the Winter Soldier’s tech team will think about avoidable damage that wasn't even mission-related.”

While Steve was considering that, Rumlow added, “And think about how part of their job is to give the asset something familiar, HYDRA-style.”

“Meaning what?” Steve demanded. It wasn't likely that they'd forgotten he didn't know about HYDRA yet.

Both STRIKE agents shifted to look at the asset. Steve wasn't sure why. As far as he could tell, it hadn't deviated from sitting quietly next to him with its head down. No knowing what was going on behind the mask but Steve hadn't noticed any cause for alarm.

"It gets confused sometimes. Right, Soldier? You know you do," said Rumlow. It was the sort of tone used to soothe animals or persuade small children. He leaned toward it, keeping his voice low.

The asset nodded.

"You confused now?"

It shook its head, but slowly, as if uncertain.

"What are you?"

"HYDRA's creation. Yours to use, Commander." It hesitated. "...Captain."

"How many handlers you got, asset?" Rumlow asked.

"...You, Commander. Captain Rogers. The... Secretary?"

Rumlow nodded and sat back. "Look at you, remembering without additional prompting."

The Winter Soldier shifted like it wasn't sure how or if it should interpret Rumlow's words.

Steve wanted to know too. "That's...good?" he ventured. He looked to Rumlow for confirmation but Rumlow shook his head.

"Asset. Who do we work for?"

Steve heard it swallow. "The Secretary?" it tried.

"Nice try," said Rumlow, "But you know better. What organization are we with, asset?"

"...HYDRA?" it suggested.

Alarmed and disturbed, Steve turned to stare at it. He couldn't read anything under the mask. The asset must have been briefed. What were they playing at?

Rumlow sighed and shook his head. "Yeah, confused. They’ll need the chair.”

The asset went stiff and dropped its head again. There wasn't even the slightest tug at Steve's hand.

“It's for its own good. You'll see, Cap," he said.

Rollins rubbed at his forehead. “They’ll have to remove Rogers first,” he said to Rumlow. “However annoyed they are, I don't think anyone will seriously want him electrocuted.

“Electrocuted?” Steve repeated. Fry them, Rumlow had said once about the Winter Soldiers. He'd dodged Steve’s question then too. “What’s the chair for?”

Rumlow and Rollins exchanged looks.

“The chair helps it focus and keeps it restrained during maintenance,” Rumlow told him. “Try not to worry about it, Cap. Jack’s just messing with you. Listen to the techs and you'll both be fine.”

Umm... just throwing this out there, but what if this is also part of Steve's objections to the Accords? I mean, Steve's whole thing about agendas and the safest hands. It was one thing to do it for his country or for SHIELD, which was sort of for Peggy's legacy, but he doesn't want to be at the beck and call of the UN or even just the oversight committee, especially with all the anger currently aimed at the team. Plus, what if he's not enough and they start to look at other members of the team? Wanda's so young and so politically vulnerable...

Unfortunately, I doubt I'll find time to actually write anything for you. I'm pretty well occupied with Undeniable Plausibility, which is rapidly becoming an absolute monster.

So I really hope someone else fills this one.

Bucky/Hydra goon, humiliation, spanking

(Anonymous) 2017-06-18 12:25 am (UTC)(link)
All I ask is for early captivity Bucky getting bent over some polished, well-groomed higher-up Hydra guy's knees and spanked as punishment for [insert whatever your trashy heart comes up with]. It's humiliating enough to start with, but then he gets hard during the spanking and comes with Hydra's guys fingers in his ass after it's been spanked raw. Pure porny one-shot would be totally fine and loved, but I also would not object to Bucky being broken down over time as the Hydra guy makes a habit of spanking him and then finger fucking him to orgasm every time he misbehaves.

I NEED THIS

Brainwashing Steve through sex

(Anonymous) 2017-06-19 11:10 am (UTC)(link)
Hydra develops a cocktail of drugs that can change the brain's chemistry so that unconditional trust is developed during sex. Whoever is dosed with it basically imprints on the next person to fuck them.

They use it on Steve.

I'm thinking they either have some handler from a strike team fuck him, or someone higher ranking like Pierce do it. In any case, the scientists inject Steve with the drugs and prep him before letting anyone at him. The more physically enjoyable the sex is, the more effective the imprinting process is.

Afterwards, there's a training period to make sure Steve is obedient as expected, then they send him out into the field. Regular fuckings are necessary to maintain the imprint. If anyone besides the person Steve imprinted on were to fuck Steve, it'd mess with the whole thing, so they avoid that.

I'd like to see the contrast of before and during, with Steve hating it, and after where he's fawning over his rapist and is willing to do anything for him.
