HELL YES! Not OP.

It's pretty much impossible to train complex problem-solving behavior, like hunting and shooting people and then returning to base to be picked up, without some form of positive reinforcement. Like a social bond.

They cultivate Bucky's guilt; people he killed under orders become the victims that he serves HYDRA to repay. He's constantly dazed from cryo and drugs and electricity, but his emotions are his own personal failings. He has a buddy, like a race-horse--although if Rumlow actually cared about him, he'd make an excuse to get out of the briefing. Bucky's "nice" is "doesn't stick unnecessary things in me" and "tells me I did a good job."

And oh, I love incompetent evil. HYDRA doesn't keep track of which operatives have a habit of raping him.

I'm up for whatever! I guess really mawkish virginity kink would be a nope, but anything else is good. Reprompter's suggestion of Steve being matter-of-fact about it is intriguing.

My personal read is that if Steve's still a virgin, it's not because he values it for its own sake, more that he wanted to save sex/relationships for an "after the war" that never came. If the rape takes place in the context of a mission, I could see him compartmentalizing it as yet more violence (which he's good at dealing with), and not as anything to do with sex. Which could lead to him being uncannily calm and matter-of-fact in the aftermath, even if he's in a geat deal more shock than he lets on.

Just throwing ideas out--no need to pick them up. Potential fillers, go with whatever you feel like.

Post-WS Steve and Bucky are in a relationship, and they play pretty rough with each other in the bedroom. Physically rough, taking advantage of supersoldier physiology, but also frequent detours into intense "Winter Soldier rapes Captain America" roleplay and the like.
