(Anonymous) 2018-06-11 06:11 am (UTC)(link)I'm up for whatever! I guess really mawkish virginity kink would be a nope, but anything else is good. Reprompter's suggestion of Steve being matter-of-fact about it is intriguing.
My personal read is that if Steve's still a virgin, it's not because he values it for its own sake, more that he wanted to save sex/relationships for an "after the war" that never came. If the rape takes place in the context of a mission, I could see him compartmentalizing it as yet more violence (which he's good at dealing with), and not as anything to do with sex. Which could lead to him being uncannily calm and matter-of-fact in the aftermath, even if he's in a geat deal more shock than he lets on.
