Dumpster #2: ...'Cause a Hydra Trash Party don't stop

Unholy hell-miracle achieved! Welcome to Bad Guys Do Bad Things To Your Faves 2: Electric Boogaloo. AKA the seamy sexual-violence-and-violent-sex underbelly of Captain America fandom, AKA the Hydra Trash Party kinkmeme. As usual, BLANKET NON-CON AND NSFW WARNINGS apply: just assume going in that everything in this landfill is unfit for human consumption.

Rules in brief: don't be a jerk except to fictional characters, warnings for particularly fucked-up garbage are nice but not required, thou shalt not judge the trashiness of thy neighbor's kinks unless thy neighbor is trying to pass off their rotting banana peels and half-eaten pizza crusts as a healthy romantic dinner for two, off-topic comments may be chucked out of the dumpster at management's discretion, management's discretion decrees that omegaverse, soulbond AUs, D/s-verse, non-superpowered AUs, and dark!good guys AUs are off-topic.

[Round 1] [Fill post] [Chatter post] [hydratrashmeme Pinboard archive (maintained by [personal profile] greenkirtle)] [Round 2 in flat view (comments in non-threaded chronological order, most recent last)]

Round 2 is closed; comments and fills in existing threads are still welcome, but all new prompts go to Round 3.

Thank you for reading! And yes Steve 100% thinks he is happy and this all enough. Honestly, I'm not sure how much better Bucky will get in this story. I'm sort of letting my writing take it where it will.

May I cast a trashballot for Bucky have intermittent ups and downs? Like sometimes he seems noticeably more aware, makes eye contact with people who aren't Steve, moves his hands more purposefully; and Steve is just elated, can't stop praising and encouraging him and telling absolutely everybody. And then it fades away again, and Steve has to pretend like that's fine, don't worry about it, Buck, we'll try again when you're feeling up to it (but of course is sobbing into a pillow late at night).

And sometimes things get bad - you mentioned Bucky having a "rough night" and made a comment about Steve having nightmares of him screaming - maybe sometimes when Bucky is expressing more emotions, they're fear/anger/sadness and Steve is terrified for him and tearing himself apart trying to figure out what's upsetting Bucky so he can fix it. This, perhaps, does not lead to Steve night-sobbing because he's afraid to leave Bucky alone for longer than it takes him to urinate, much less a whole night, are you crazy, Sam?
