I want Steve slowly simmering with anger under the surface as he finds out what happened to Bucky at the hands of Hydra. Maybe there are videos of rape and degradation, torture and abuse. Some of the perps are identified in the videos.
I want him swallowing it down and pretending everything is fine. While in his head he's calculating like 'I have to focus on Bucky's recovery first... But in the mean time, I'm going to find these pieces of shit.'
Natasha and Fury possibly help him find Hydra folks.
Basically I just want something breaking inside of Steve and dark Steve hunting down each one and smiling peacefully while he slowly tears them to pieces. Maybe he does the Girl with a Dragon Tattoo thing and ties someone up while shoving a dildo up their unprepared ass?

Bonus points if he sleeps like a baby afterward

Bonus bonus points if he keeps this a secret from Sam who eventually finds out and is like 'Well you're my new best friend, so I guess I'll help you hide the bodies' And while he's super disturbed by Steve's dark side, he can't exactly find fault with it.

All of my putrid, decaying heart if Bucky finds out and is severely worried about Steve because he's never seen him like this. Like, even during the war he wasn't like this.

Okay so that's the description I found in the rules. I guess so? Is it Steve hurting Hydra baddies that's banned, or Steve becoming evil and hurting Bucky? Or is it both? Is it general darkness of Steve?

Canon!Steve would kill HYDRA supporters, perhaps even with extreme prejudice, but he wouldn't torture or sexually abuse them first. That makes this prompt a no-no on the meme, sorry.

I don't think it's banned because he wouldn't do those things (I mean, we can argue all day about what characters would or wouldn't do - this is fanfiction, so...). I think Mod said those types of prompts are banned because they tend to creep into trash memes and rapidly multiply/overtake the meme, like the Alpha/Omega universes.
