I loved Steve's progression (from not noticing to wondering what the hell kind of damage Hydra had inflicted) in his awareness of Bucky being a nipple never-nude. The scene in the hospital was especially effective; there's something so compelling about Bucky's heart beating out of his chest with panic even as his face is totally composed. It just makes you wonder how much terror he's hiding, and how often, when he looks calm. (NOT TO MENTION BUCKY BEING TRIGGERED BACK INTO COMPLIANT FUCKTOY MODE JUST BY BEING TOPPLED INTO BED. GODDAMN.) I really liked your Bucky, who's quiet and still has a lot of problems but is all sweet in bed with Steve.

ADDITIONAL LOVE for the image of tiny teenage Steve pinning Bucky to the bed and working his nipples until he's crying, holy shit.

LOVE +++ for Steve being so careful not to hurt Bucky during sex.

“It didn’t hurt,” he whispers.

Oh god, my baby! What a killer last line! The image that precedes this -- Steve tonguing at Bucky's nipple through the wet patch on his shirt -- is so damn hot, but it's also heartbreaking in that Steve's worries about Bucky's safety in bed were a little bit justified; Bucky was shocked that being touched there felt good, but never told Steve to back off. My poor heart. What a great fill!

I have all the love for loudly implied horrible torture, like, you don't actually have any idea how bad it was so your brain just imagines ALL THE BAD and I hope it kind of makes up for the fact that I didn't write any real torture :) Thank you for your lovely comment, I read it like four times and turned a little redder each time =.= I'm glad you liked it!

(new anon) I didn't mind at all. As much as I love reading explicit torture scenes, I also really love just filling in the blanks myself, with increasing horribleness every time I reread it! This is fill is so, so good. Trash that manages to be cute has a special place on my heart--it's a rusty shopping cart I've lined with scraps of old cat-stinking carpet, ripped wrapping paper, and old, mildewing flowers. I've now tucked this fill lovingly into one corner. Thank you!

I keep watching that gif. It's mesmerizing. And I have so many questions. Who is the dude? How did they train that fish? Or was it a one-time occurrence? Will the fish just leap up and latch onto anyone's nipples nearby? Did the dude plan for this to happen? If so, why did he lurch out of frame? Was this a staged porno?
