If the commanding officer is a sadist, what kind of sadism do you want to see? Like him BDSM training Bucky into submission? How sadistic do you want him actually? Does he want Bucky to get off on the torture or does he just want to break Bucky?

Eeek! Oh my God, I don't even know... I think my end goal was for Bucky to be pretty well traumatized and submissive by the time Steve finds him, but he hasn't broken yet. He's still Bucky and he's got some fire left if he's pushed hard enough.

So, short answer, as sadistic as possible to accomplish that^^ The road to get Bucky there is really up to the filler (though BDSM training into submission sounds mighty nice!)

Hmm, I'm gonna say that they're in a relationship. I think the rest of the Howlies know about it too, because it's my headcanon that they are all such bros that nobody cares.
