Garbage you should find a different trashcan for: a/b/o, D/s-verse, soulbonds, mundane AUs, OOC evil!good guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves, rotting leftovers dressed up as a romantic gourmet meal. Nothing wrong with 'em, but this isn't the crowd you should be pitching to if you're trying to sell Brock Rumlow as anything but a human dumpster fire.

Steve and Bucky are living together now and Bucky suffers from the memories of Hydra sexually abusing him. He appreciates Steve's understanding and gentle attitude, and Steve is just grateful he hasn't had to experience sexual trauma. Until he remembers that he did.

Due to being frozen for decades messing with his brain, some of Steve's memories from the forties come back a little late. Suddenly Steve has a vivid detailed flashback of the time when, before the serum, he was robbed and violently assaulted and Bucky had to come home to find Steve bound and gagged and visibly raped in their ransacked apartment.

Steve is mortified and unsure if that even actually happened. Bucky prods him into spilling what's bothering him lately. He gives in and tells. Bucky's reaction is "Oh yeah that totally happened! In fact I thought that whole thing was one reason why you've been so understanding about what happened to me!"

I LOVE THIS PROMPT?! Also the implication of brain trauma from the freezing that's pretty much gone untreated is so damn good!!
