Garbage we like: noncon, whump, aftermath, violence, mind control, inappropriate uses of Bucky Barnes' metal arm, bad guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves. Garbage you should find a different trashcan for: a/b/o, D/s-verse, soulbonds, mundane AUs, OOC evil!good guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves, rotting leftovers dressed up as a romantic gourmet meal. Nothing wrong with 'em, but this isn't the crowd you should be pitching to if you're trying to sell Brock Rumlow as anything but a human dumpster fire.

Not sure if OP is into this, but I couldn't help but think: what if Rumlow had previously done Trashy Things to Steve, thus adding an extra layer of "you're seriously helping me and not taking revenge?"

hmmmmmm, the idea has it's merits, and I wouldn't object to a fill like that, but I think I'd prefer it if Steve didn't have any personal experience with rape in this one and that finding Rumlow like that is the first time he's actually seen it. (heard about it before sure, but not seen)

Still if someone wanted to fill it with that extra detail I'd totally be up for that. It'd certainly lend weight to Steve's debates about leaving Rumlow there.
