Okay, kids, you know the drill. Don't be a jerk except to fictional characters. Warn if you want, but read at your own risk, because hydratrashmeme is about as far from a safe space as you can get. Garbage we like: noncon, whump, aftermath, violence, mind control, inappropriate uses of Bucky Barnes' metal arm, bad guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves. Garbage you should find a different trashcan for: a/b/o, D/s-verse, soulbonds, mundane AUs, OOC evil!good guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves, rotting leftovers dressed up as a romantic gourmet meal. Nothing wrong with 'em, but this isn't the crowd you should be pitching to if you're trying to sell Brock Rumlow as anything but a human dumpster fire.

Is that right? "Anon Author" is there some abbreviation? If I undertand correctly "OP" means "Original Prompter", the one who started the specific thread by prompting for a story fill for their idea. Right? Is there some equivalent of Anon Author or Anon Writer?

I have all these WONDERFUL(read AWFUL) things I want to happen to Bucky and Steve! but I have never actually Written anything and posted it before! (eyes the mountain of unfinished drabbles of D/s-AU's sitting on my desk) What if I get laughed at? Or judged for my desire to horrifically torture fictional characters with physical/emotional abuse?"

Well this place looks friendly enough. (looks around at the diverse range of trash presented in the dumpster and the kind comments)
Maybe I'll try my luck.

(Starts mixing together some trash) Let's see, hmmm. Some Dub-con-full-power-exchange, a cup of Gentle!Competent!Dom!Steve, stir in the internalized objectification until it gets runny, add Fluff and Comfort so it'll puff up in the oven, and garnish with service!kink and kneeling/crawling to taste, set to bake (read BURN) in HELL for AN ETERNITY, serve hot with a side of praise!kink and tears-of-joy.

Hopefully that will do. Best not to hope for much, grammar's kind of spotty, pace could be improved. (Posts trash. Sits down on hands and waits)

I am so happy you liked it! I have more to give, I promise. I just have to string up my muse first, luckily she seems to be drawn by comments, every time I read a new comment, my muse comes back with a battering ram through the wall.

I tried my best to get the Asset's internal narration just right, thank you! It was my pleasure to hit those buttons for you, they are my favorites as well!

*poor Asset!Bucky being worriedly needy and Steve putting on his dear brave patient commander face and doing his best for his damaged pal* is just what I intend to write more of! Don't you worry about that, more is on the way!

I bathe in *WS Attempts Sexual Escalation But Is Terrified It'll Be Rejected And Punished*, I love it, and can't get enough! That is exactly where I want to go with this. Though, it won't crash and burn with a downward spiral of angst, that already happened years ago in this fic when Steve first "took possesion of the Asset". As I said earlier, this is Competent!Handler!Steve who has learnt through trial and error to not completely ignore those "attempts at sexual escalations" from the Asset because it never ends well. So in a way it's a "hydra-made-them-do-it" situation, though not as direct as a full on "fuck-or-die" trope I think.

OP = original poster/prompter/person
AA/aa/a!a/A!A/Auth!anon/A!Anon or variations thereof = author anon
SA = same anon
DA = different anon

Hi again author! I love competent handler Steve, at any and all levels of inner emotional turmoil (hopeful, turned on, guilty that he likes being Bucky's dom, conflicted, desperately in love, starting to think this might not be so bad...). Looking forward to more of whatever you're in the mood to serve up!
