Okay, kids, you know the drill. Don't be a jerk except to fictional characters. Warn if you want, but read at your own risk, because hydratrashmeme is about as far from a safe space as you can get. Garbage we like: noncon, whump, aftermath, violence, mind control, inappropriate uses of Bucky Barnes' metal arm, bad guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves. Garbage you should find a different trashcan for: a/b/o, D/s-verse, soulbonds, mundane AUs, OOC evil!good guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves, rotting leftovers dressed up as a romantic gourmet meal. Nothing wrong with 'em, but this isn't the crowd you should be pitching to if you're trying to sell Brock Rumlow as anything but a human dumpster fire.

WS rape tape

So I love stories where details/photos/video of the WS being raped are leaked to the public, much to the horror and humiliation of a half-recovered Bucky. All of the media frenzy, viral sharing, public shaming, mob mentality, self-loathing, etc.

I would also love the natural opposite of that premise - a video leaks of the Winter Soldier raping someone.

It happened on orders of course, maybe as part of an interrogation or torture or part of a mission. It's violent and brutal, with a wordless Winter Soldier completely ignoring the pleas of his victim.

Bucky is a victim, too - he was raped and tortured at the hands of HYDRA countless times - and the rape he committed was completely out of his control - but no one sees that, they just see this horrifying and damning footage, and naturally vilify him for it. It's all over the internet, everyone's talking about it, people are calling for his arrest, for his death. Bucky can barely go out in public without being recognized, yelled at, spat on. Maybe he has to go into hiding to get away from it all.

Cue all of Bucky's self-doubt and self-hatred, confusion and frustration - is he a victim or a villain? Does his own abuse even matter if he abused someone else in the same way? I'm imagining that Bucky doesn't even remember perpetrating the rape until the tape leaks - maybe remembers just a few details, not enough to put together and make sense of, until he sees it for himself. All of the feelings of guilt and shame he thought he'd sort of worked though already (about, you know, killing all those people) have now come back with a vengeance. Oh, and seemingly everyone on the planet is publicly corroborating every awful thing he's ever thought about himself.

Bonus points if his partner (Steve or Sam) tries to be understanding and supportive ("it wasn't your fault," "you weren't in control of yourself," etc) but is actually really shaken up by the footage. They love Bucky, they know logically it wasn't really him, but - now when they're alone, or when they're in bed together, it's another story. They're turned off, nervous, can't stop thinking about what they've seen.

Super bonus points if their sex life previously included kinky elements which are now suddenly extremely fraught and complicated. (There are a number of different ways I can see that playing out. If Bucky tended to top/dom before, he might suddenly feel disgusted with himself and want to sub/bottom, out of a sense of atonement. Or, maybe he and his partner want to keep things the same as always and enforce Bucky's role as a healthy top, but while they're having sex, one or the other or both breaks down and panics. If Bucky tended to bottom/sub before, he might become more invested in that role, and might want to be hurt more than usual or actively punished. I'm not picky, any of the above trashy scenarios will do just fine - Or, maybe there's some iteration of kinky dirtybadwrong consequences I haven't foreseen, in which case, yes please to that, too!!!)
