Okay, kids, you know the drill. Don't be a jerk except to fictional characters. Warn if you want, but read at your own risk, because hydratrashmeme is about as far from a safe space as you can get. Garbage we like: noncon, whump, aftermath, violence, mind control, inappropriate uses of Bucky Barnes' metal arm, bad guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves. Garbage you should find a different trashcan for: a/b/o, D/s-verse, soulbonds, mundane AUs, OOC evil!good guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves, rotting leftovers dressed up as a romantic gourmet meal. Nothing wrong with 'em, but this isn't the crowd you should be pitching to if you're trying to sell Brock Rumlow as anything but a human dumpster fire.

Bucky Comes Out of WS Mode During Trash

In Civil War it seemed like the Winter Soldier programming wore off pretty abruptly. My theory is that the triggers can affect short-term behavior but if the subject has a life and a personality that hasn’t been suppressed by the chair it’s fairly undependable; there are too many things that could snap them out of it.

So consider this: a post-WS Bucky has been captured by Hydra and they’ve used the trigger words to revert him to WS mode. He snaps out of it in the middle of trash. Cue confusion, horror, guilt, etc., etc., and so forth.

Extra bonus garbage points if some other prisoner is also involved in the trash (preference for Steve or Natasha, but anyone works, really) and Bucky wakes up in the middle of brutally fucking them and is horrified not only at what he’s doing now but at what else he might have done while he was out of control (either he can’t remember or he’s in too much shock to try right away).

Why not both scenarios? Maybe he loses consciousness and then tries to fight back when he wakes in control of himself so they bring in another prisoner to make him behave long enough to put him under again...
