Garbage you should find a different trashcan for: a/b/o, D/s-verse, soulbonds, mundane AUs, OOC evil!good guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves, rotting leftovers dressed up as a romantic gourmet meal. Nothing wrong with 'em, but this isn't the crowd you should be pitching to if you're trying to sell Brock Rumlow as anything but a human dumpster fire.

Bucky finds comfort in HTP, a few were his best memories

Okay, so Bucky spent years being broken into the WS. It took nearly a decade for them to manage to break JBB into The Asset. The HTPs were originally a way to break Bucky down. A direct attack on his self and self identity- except for how it wasn't. Steve was his Dom for years, his skinny weak little angry spitfire that would make him feel so good with a fist in his hair and color checks every time it ramped up a little more.

Bucky has always loved submitting. He has always loved rape play and total power exchanges. Sure these parties were horrifying because he had no actual say in it- but a small part of him loved it, from the very first fist to the spit in his eye as he was left gagging on his fortieth load of cum through the spider gag.

The handlers don't really realize that aspect, until Pierce. Pierce is a Daddy and a Dom, and when the Asset starts acting up and seems to be pushing for a punishment, Pierce watches closely. He learns what makes Bucky cum harder, and instead of HTPs as punishment, they are doled out as rewards. Bucky comes to view Pierce as his own personal Master, his shining star of pain and pleasure. Bucky would die for him, even without the Winter Soldier side of himself.

Bucky post HYDRA reveal is seen as a victim, and logically he can almost see it, but Bucky misses the HYDRA trash so much, and he misses Pierce even more. Stockholm, whatever, he doesn't really care. And worst of all, Steve, who he remembers as being such a wonderful Dom, cries when Bucky starts asking for rape scenes.

How all this shakes out- is up to filler. But I want Bucky feeling nostalgic and missing the brutal rapes and gangbangs. I want Bucky craving the awfulness of the worst the HTP groomed him into loving. I want Bucky trying to fill his needs.

My entire mountain of mouldy chicken nuggets if Nat is the only one that fully grasps and understands his refusal to give up the shreds of joy he had found in the past.
