Garbage you should find a different trashcan for: a/b/o, D/s-verse, soulbonds, mundane AUs, OOC evil!good guys doing dirtybadwrong things to your faves, rotting leftovers dressed up as a romantic gourmet meal. Nothing wrong with 'em, but this isn't the crowd you should be pitching to if you're trying to sell Brock Rumlow as anything but a human dumpster fire.

Velveteen Bucky- Asset is sure he needs HTP love to stay mobile

So, Bucky loved the Velveteen Rabbit story as a kid. And as the Asset, he was touch starved to the extreme. It came to the point where his productivity tanked and he began severely dissociating to the point of not moving or reacting to orders.

HTP is done since why not, asset is broken and unresponsive anyways. Some handler (Lukin? Pierce?) Sees him leaning into touches, and decides to steer it, when Asset becomes aware, he spins it.

Bucky is created from their love, from HYDRA'S love. Without HTP and all the sex and "love" he will always go cold and cease to be.

Post Potomac Asset begins to dissociate more and more, as a self fulfilling prophecy.

Please garbage keepers, give me Bucky doing whatever it takes to get the right "love" to keep him alive/moving.

Bonuses for nasty semi ageplay from some older handler who always reads Bucky The Velveteen Rabbit during after care. Because aftercare should always have reinforcement and also stroke a sick sexual predator edge for some dude with all this power.

Ofc flashbacks if recovery is attempted are a huge plus.
