Yeah, but since the new meme is open to non-con but with more variety (mundane Brock the rapist etc), people might end up migrating there with non-con prompts that'd fit here too since it's easier to have it all in one place.

but there are probably a lot of people (like myself) who appreciate the narrow focus of this meme and will stick around. especially since with it being general MCU you'll probably get a lot of the dark good guys and a million tony-whump-focused prompts. i'm fine here!

FWIW i think the problem is just the sudden influx of prompt after prompt of off-topic or vaguely on-topic themes that is the problem. it's sort of like what happened a while back with the flood of recovery-focused prompts that were largely only incidentally post-trash -- a theme which is a personal weakness of mine at all trash levels, but i completely understood where trashmod was coming from at the time, and i get it now too.
