Yeah, the idea that gay couples have a "man" and a "woman" is still somewhat common nowadays. As is the idea that letting your kids see gay couples will make them gay, and the idea that it's not gay if you're the one doing the fucking. So the prompt doesn't seem so farfetched to me. And anyway, it's not like we strive for realism what with the amount of things we usually imagine being shoved up Bucky's ass.

OP would read it and giggle. If you write it there is some interesting concepts from the 1910s and 20s that literally likened receptive homosexuality to a mental inversion. Inverts, quite literally it was arguing gay bottoms were born with feminized minds and not responsible for their sickness.

The movement was trying to help, in its own way.
