HTP made Bucky face how right a lot of the dialogue of most homosexuals being depraved sadistic perverts was, the things they made him do and did to him, made him like...

A while ago I read the headcanon that the reason why there's a gun on the table on the kitchen scene in TWS is because the Winter Soldier is supposed to arm any handlers who are not armed in his presence, should they wish to kill him.

So let's trashify it.

A handler gets off on the power it gives them (Rollins, maybe? I love Rollins being weird, but anyone is fine, specially a woman handler, we need more women trash here). So they make the Soldier come up with elaborate scenarios where the handler could kill him while they masturbate. The Soldier has a lot of experience killing people + there's the headcanon that Bucky was always a good storyteller, so he can make his descriptions extra vivid.

+The gorier and more realistic the better for the Handler, so the Soldier escalates on the horror, part to make it end faster, but also he takes a sort of pride in acomplishing a mission (plus, he isn't being touched, so it's better than the usual).

At first, no one in HYDRA even thinks to touch the Asset.

Then, the Asset begins actively offering sexual favors on the down low to one or two HYDRA goons - in exchange for a necessity like food/water, in lieu of punishment, or for some other reason entirely, writer's choice. The key thing is that it's the Asset's idea in the first place. He remembers sex and flirting - remembers he's good looking/a good lover - or even remembers trading sex before - and comes to the conclusion that sex is an effective way to get what he needs/wants. He knows he has very little else to bargain with.

It's not so bad at first - the HYDRA goon(s) are more surprised/amused than anything else, they aren't too rough with him, and they hold up their end of the bargain.

Then word gets out, maybe one guy gets a buddy involved. More and more baddies start demanding sex from the Asset, and he can't exactly say no. Things escalate until the abuse is out in the open, commonplace, and everyone wants a go.

And this is when/how the trash parties start. Cue all the awful victim-blaming that the Asset brought this on himself, the constant reminders that he "asked for" this, etc.

(I'd prefer more of a person!Asset here who is clever and strategic, despite being brainwashed - he's fully aware of how events are playing out, not blank/confused.)

Hydra used GOOD dog training techniques

The asset was trained and treated like a dog, but using good dog training techniques, not unnecessarily cruel ones.

Good trainers use treats or rewards to get their dogs to like putting their muzzles on. They ignore bad behavior and reward the behavior they want with food and touch and approval. They train things like bite inhibition (so the asset knows it must have a soft mouth, especially when certain things are put into it) and comfort with being handled and examined by groomers and vets. When out on walks (or missions) they train the dog to keep its attention on them, and to obey commands even from a distance. They get their dogs to enjoy being put into cages by providing food and entertainment, but make sure to give them all the exercise they need. They use toys cleverly and use the dog's natural instincts (to dig, bark, sniff, explore, etc) in their favour so that training is fun for it. They give clear, firm commands and are generous and genuine with "good boy!" and tummy rubs when obeyed.

Give me the Winter Soldier's earliest days of training with an excellent, highly skilled, gently authoritative, but still deeply evil Hydra handler.

Inspired by the recent fuckpotato fill, which had HYDRA amputating the Winter Soldier to keep it in line and for more powerful cybernetics.

So what if there's an added feature to all the new limbs, which is that the moment WS sleeps or loses consciousness, they deactivate and fall off? Only handlers know how to reattach the arms.

It makes a lot of sense from the HYDRA perspective -- the asset *has* to return to handler if it wants to sleep and not wake up completely helpless. They don't have to worry about the Asset falling into enemy hands, plus plus it automates a step during cryo prep.

Anyways, some potential ideas:
- early training where WS has to re-learn how to use all of his cybernetic limbs, with HYDRA-appropriate reward/punishment structure
- WS having to earn his limbs one at a time from his handler, in increasingly trashy ways
- after Insight, WS must return to handler, and Steve finds WS' limbs first, before finding the trash party
- alternatively, WS stays awake for 3 days and goes to Steve the moment he's out of the hospital. Does the WS then fall asleep and leave Steve to discover the horror? Or does the WS try to stay awake, growing increasingly erratic as he deals with various trash-related hallucinations?

Had the idea while reading the last fill. I’m considering maybe self-filling this one in the future or collaborating on it but I’d love to read it more than write.

I’ve seen a lot of fics that deal with Bucky being touch starved post Hydra, but I’d love to see the opposite too. After decades of unwanted medical touching and trash parties, Bucky is over being touched - avoids casual touches and wants absolutely nothing to do with sex or physical intimacy of any kind. Triggering, upsetting etc. Dude just wants total body autonomy without anyone infringing on that.

Enter Steve trying to pick up the pieces of their relationship.
