In an episode of Agents of Shield, there is this device you can use to instantly freeze a whole swimming pool. So here's what I'm seeing.

Steve is captured, and knocked unconscious. While he's out, they fit him with a spider gag (reinforced metal he can't bend with his teeth, whatever). Then, as he's starting to come back to consciousness, they toss him into a swimming pool. This brings him around instantly, but he has the spider gag on, and he's swallowed some water, and he's disoriented. Still, he starts swimming and breaks the surface.

Then, with just his head above the water, they insta-freeze the pool :)

He's trapped. In ice. For him, this is all kinds of triggery, panic starts to take over, he can't move, it's cold, etc.

While he's still trying to cough out some water out of his lungs through the spider gag, while he's still gagging and spluttering, they come over and start fucking his face. They take turns. There's some variety. Some facefuck him roughly. Some slap him around, pull his hair, etc. Some throatfuck him until he's almost out again. All the while, he's in a state of huge panic, but he doesn't really go anywhere in his head - I mean, he's also hyper aware what they are doing to him. He could try to mouth off.

The ending is up to you. He could somehow break the ice and rescue himself , or they just leave him there for someone to find. Or... he goes into the full state of shock, so they break the ice, take him out and proceed to have their fun with his ass or whatever.

It’s polished surface reflecting Steve’s own bruised, bloody and tear stricken face back at him.

“ You know? I just read the most interesting article about superheroes the other day. It was in some dentist waiting room type of magazine .” Steve’s eyes track the blade as it rests gently against his shoulder. The liquid soon becomes clear to steve, as it slowly eats its whey through His flesh.

“And it called Captain America you won’t believe this.” The acid is doing a great job of dissolving a path through his shoulder so steve barely notices when the blade finally pierces his skin. “ The Angel Of Capitalism and War.” Rumlow lets out a full belly laugh, digging the serrated edge deeper into his flesh; and all Steve can do is try desperately not to scream. Tears were taken from him hours ago, but screaming is still his to own.

“And you know I thought it was such a shame that he didn’t have any wings to show it.” The knife and acid glide across his back like lightening. His own flesh sizzling with each pass.

The hydra agent leans in, his breath tickling along Steve’s ear. “ So I had the brilliant idea, to grace him with some; and as we all know.” The next pass was some how even excruciatingly slower, Steve having to bite his own cheek, to keep noises of agony from ripping out his throat.

Hydra gives Steve some wings. They are very permanent.

Take the prompt how you will show Steve earning his wings show him dealing with the after math. Just go Wild and have fun. Pairings are what ever you want or this could be gen not super picky. Every time the Winter Soldier was VERY out of line (running away, refusing to kill a target, etc), Hydra makes sure that the Winter Soldier remembers the subsequent punishment by removing a toe (or other not-useful body part). I would love to see how that impacts recovery (with ample flashbacks, of course), and how Bucky chooses to explain that to any potential partners (I'm okay with any combo of Steve Sam and Nat) -- especially the actual trashy nature of the punishment.

So yes, Bucky is free, maybe living with Steve or on his own. He's starting to remember stuf from before, doing things he wants/likes, generally becoming a human being.

Here's the catch: as long as he still partly saw himself as the asset, he was sort of able to deal with things - the moment he's getting more closer to being Bucky", he starts coming apart at the seams.

Good prompt, anon. This has potential to be extra devastating owing to how realistic it is when it comes to trauma recovery. Take away one "effective" coping mechanism, and others will crop up to take its place... and if one isn't getting help they're liable to be destructive ones.

I miss the good old fuckpotato days, and ... why not Steve? HYDRA captures Steve, and unlike Bucky, of course Steve refuses to cooperate. And turns out he can't be wiped, either. So what else can you do with 200 lbs of spitting mad supersoldier who keeps breaking all your expensive mag cuffs? Make him a 50 lb fuckpotato, of course.

Things I'm interested in:
- This being genuinely traumatizing to Steve -- he doesn't cope well with being small and useless and dependent on other people.

- Bucky rescues Steve! Whether that means convincing the Avengers that he's sane and then busting down the door after a months-long hunt, or getting caught at the same time and quietly biding his time pretending to be the Winter Soldier, or something else ... I just love Bucky being resilient and resourceful.

- Bucky helps Steve with the recovery. Maybe actually opens up about his own traumas as part of the process. I'm a big fan of these two grandpas recovering together.

- Steve gets prosthetics, of course. And all the other happy recovery stuff! :D :D :D

Steve's clearly interested, Brock's ordered to let this play out because it'll be useful, and... he hates every single second of it. He's uncomfortable to the point of fear, hyper-aware that Steve's Winter Soldier-strong, feels trapped... He's not admitting it, but it feels like rape.

And then post-TWS, Brock gets taken prisoner by the Avengers and despite Brock's best manly efforts this gradually becomes clear. Rollins survived, despite life-altering injuries, but he never moved on from that trauma, and when he comes across Bucky after TWS, nothing will stop him from taking his revenge.

Basically, I just want pain for them both. Regardless of what side Rollins was on, he's as much a victim in this scenario as Bucky is, and I want that explored in all its angst-tastic detail.

I want Rollins re-enacting his rape on Bucky in the hopes that it will expunge what was done to him (it won't). I want Bucky having to deal with the horrific realisation that he raped a kid who clearly wasn't enjoying what he was doing (the Soldier was less than human and didn't care; Bucky, however, remembers what went down differently). I want them both hurting each other as savagely as they can emotionally.

And crucially, I do not want a happy ending. No Steve to the rescue, or Bucky overpowering Rollins. Just two people who end up even more broken afterwards.

So Steve busts in a door and neutralizes a bunch of Hydra operatives in order to free Bucky, like so many fics we know and love. Preferably this is after Bucky’s been de-winter soldiered and subsequently captured again (revenge, experiments, hopes of reinstating the programming, whatever).

Anyway, the problem is Steve’s evac team is delayed, and Bucky’s in critical condition and needs serious medical treatment now. Extent of which is up to the filler, but something gory and borderline body horror is requested. Anon loves herself some fuckpotato, but I’m open to whatever the potential filler wants to explore.

Steve obviously has field medical training, but he’s no medic and he doesn’t have any proper equipment, so it’s just him, a bleeding and traumatized Bucky, and a lonely Hydra base without adequate medical supplies, while he tries to run out the clock until evac arrives.

All I want is Steve scrambling around desperately looking for gauze and tweezers or whatever, while a near death Bucky attempts to hold it together for Steve and talk him through whatever procedure needs to be done.

Like Bucky is still strapped to the operating table, Steve kicked in the door in the middle of the procedure. Bucky is spread eagle with his limbs still barely connected with a few strands of muscle and skin but mostly sawed off.
Steve takes the belts off the unconcious guards/doctors and desperately tries to stop the blood flow.

By the time evac arrives it's too late, after hours of surgery the good doctors (Stark medical start/Wakandan doctors, whatever) are unable to reconnect the dead tissue and have to finish the amputation in order to save Bucky's life.

In Civil War it seemed like the Winter Soldier programming wore off pretty abruptly. My theory is that the triggers can affect short-term behavior but if the subject has a life and a personality that hasn’t been suppressed by the chair it’s fairly undependable; there are too many things that could snap them out of it.

So consider this: a post-WS Bucky has been captured by Hydra and they’ve used the trigger words to revert him to WS mode. He snaps out of it in the middle of trash. Cue confusion, horror, guilt, etc., etc., and so forth.

Extra bonus garbage points if some other prisoner is also involved in the trash (preference for Steve or Natasha, but anyone works, really) and Bucky wakes up in the middle of brutally fucking them and is horrified not only at what he’s doing now but at what else he might have done while he was out of control (either he can’t remember or he’s in too much shock to try right away).
