To those of you who get off to non-con fantasies, I have a rather intimate question: Is this a "once in a while" thing for you, or are these kinds of fantasies to only ones that get you off? And if there are other dynamics/scenarios that get you going, how'd you describe them?

For example, for me it doesn't necessarily have to be non-con, but some kind of power dynamic is a must for it to "work". Humiliation, desperation, internalized (whatever fits the storyline at the given moment), these kind of things.

hey guys, I'm relatively new here & I've been scanning through pages and pages on the meme and I can't seem to find any plain old hydra-makes-them-do-it kind of trash. Like, Bucky / Steve / Sam / Nat (or any other Avenger/good character in any combination) are captured and forced to have trashy sex with each other against their will for hydra's amusement. I don't really care what the specific kinks are, what does it for me is the "makes them do it" part.

I thought there would be more of that kind of stuff on here, am I missing sthg? is that kind of kink too tangential to the trash party?

So, I wasn't attracted to Rumlow at all when I first saw Winter Soldier. He was a big scary muscular man, not my type at all, and I was worried about Steve in the movie and not thinking sexual thoughts about Rumlow whatsoever. (Bucky writhing around in the chair, hell yeah, but that wasn't a surprise to me, pretty guys in pain has been a thing for me for a while.)

Then I discovered the Trash Party last summer and, well, read a lot of fanfics about Rumlow doing terrible things to Bucky, Steve, both, etc. And staring at Frank Grillo's pretty face in gifsets.

Cut to me in a theater watching Civil War and utterly flustered over the briefest glimpses of Rumlow. My IRL friends are very confused, because they know my type, and Frank Grillo ain't it.

I'm pretty sure the Trash Party is 100% responsible for my attraction to Rumlow, and Frank Grillo by extension. And I can't tell anyone but here, anon.

Anyone else have this experience, or a similar one to certain characters or scenes, because of the Trash Party?

Sorry, nonnies, but I can't find a fill in which Steve and Sam finally catch up with Bucky only to find him half-dead, because HYDRA removed most of his internal organs and his body can't function properly for a long time without special equipment. I am not being antisemitic or some shit, I just feel curiosity, after seeing of the crap of tumblr about how everyone in the htp were a bunch of nazist goyim who obligue marvel to make hydra!steve. it started off kind of shaky, but it's basically an entire show based around people dealing with the after affects of canonical trash parties(literally, they were parties thrown by the bad guy).

1) Makes me wonder how the fandom, if there is one, reacts to Trash Party Culture (aka dark fic fans). Can't really say "don't do that, that's disgusting" when canon already explicitly went there (like, it's not a metaphor or a "well, that's bad but hey, what if it was even worse" on this show)

2) The characters map *so well* to a Winter Soldier No Powers AU (which I know is not allowed on this meme though). Jessie even pulled a total Natasha move in the season finale. And the day Gil won his cage match was the same day he was dragged to his first trash party, which goes along with the themes of the Winter Soldier being the scariest, toughest guy around yet not having any power to stop his abuse.

Hey guys- I'm new here so I'm not sure how things work, but I think I get the general idea. Please correct me if I mess up.

Anyway, while I enjoy htp (and I must say there are some surprisingly great psychological and character studies to be found here), I was wondering where I can go if I wanted to prompt/look for fanfiction that has Rumlow as a main character outside of htp, that is, outside of kink. I noticed in the general avengers fanfiction tags that Rumlow is usually a convenient villain to be killed off by the third paragraph or that Asshole Ex-boyfriend in au stucky.

But what if I wanna read a fic about the winter soldier and Rumlow ditching shield/hydra and becoming independent contractors? Or Rumlow and Loki on some awkward revenge road trip of lies and backstabbery (the resultant dialogue is hilarious in my head).

And while I know au isn't allowed, I can't be the only one who's longed for au MMA fanfic, am I??

I was in a Disability in Society Sociology class, when the teacher sprung, in the last week of class, violent child rape, told from the pov of a queer survivor.

There was no warning, and at no point in the class did we discuss child abuse or rape before this paper.

The only warning was "touches on child abuse" in the HOMEWORK questions, that we are supposed to do AFTER we do the readings.

Please- anyone that feels like it is emotionally safe for them to read a 10 page academic article written by the survivor- please read it and let me know if you feel it NEEDS a warning, and this is worth fighting, or if I am just hyper in tune with this because of how it directly parallels a lot of my own early childhood.

Rumlow doesn't seem to get a lot of meta discussion so I just gotta ask- has anyone thought about Rumlow in combat? Cause I was thinking of it yesterday (merrily over analyzing my faves is a favorite pastime), and one of the reasons I'm so intrigued by his character is he was so efficient and focused in CATWS. On the Lemurian Star he very carefully and quietly sets up his shot to take out the terrorist by first knocking him out with the stun baton. He knows he's outmatched by cap in the elevator (ha, that elevator scene) so he goes after him with the batons, and later on he disarms Sharon Carter quite handily and acquires her gun. Guy doesn't waste time on inefficient or unecessary moves.

Which makes it interesting to me that when faced with Falcon he strips off his vest and gleefully proceeds to kick his ass. When he reappears as Crossbones in CW he's more of a brawler than an efficient soldier, I don't think he used a weapon save for the metal gauntlets.. Seems to me that within the demands of an op, he's efficient and very skilled, and left to his own devices he'll happily beat the shit out of people for fun. Anyone have any thoughts?

SPOILERS FOR AGENT CARTER

So, I'm kinda new to the fandom, and I'm trying to work out How Things Happened. I know there are some inconsistencies within the movies about dates, but I have a lot of questions. I haven't finished season two of Agent Carter, so I don't know if any of this gets addressed further, but it doesn't seem likely, given that the story has taken other directions.

When Bucky fell from the train, was he found by Leviathan soldiers? In CA:TFA Bucky falls in 1944, and Zola gets arrested. Flash forward to the end of Agent Carter season 1, which is supposed to take place in 1946. Dr. Fennhoff, (who was pretty high up in Leviathan? He had a personal vendetta against Howard Stark, but I didn't get their agenda as an organization?) gets arrested, and for some unfathomable reason gets put in the same cell as Zola. It's implied that he shows Zola how to use hypnosis, which might have caused, or at least influenced Zola to be hired by SHIELD, but that doesn't happen for maybe couple of years? Operation Paperclip started in 1945, but season two of AC takes place in 1947 and there's no mention of Zola being hired by the government so far. I'm assuming that Zola makes friends with Fennhoff and manages to incorporate whatever's left of Leviathan on his new HYDRA? Would the soviets accept him as a leader? Was Leviathan mostly gone by '46 and Zola just picked up the pieces?

From the flashback in CA:TWS it seems that Zola was the one responsible for Bucky's metal arm and turning him into a soldier, but apparently Bucky was with the Soviets for three or four years before Zola managed to get a hold of him. This has lovely trashy possibilities.

I prefer to think that this is the period when they were experimenting on his mind, and when they created the triggers, hence why they're in Russian and not in German as it would make sense if Zola had installed them. Leviathan seemed pretty into mind manipulation and control, as we can see from Fennhoff and the Red Room.
Did they already have cryo technology in 1944? If not, then in what trashy conditions did Bucky spend these years?
Maybe they realized that he was special because he didn't die from his fall, and healed faster from wounds, so maybe they experimented with how far they could go, on a Bucky that was still himself (scared, starved, and lonely, but still himself).

So, what are your theories and headcanons on who trained Bucky and how?

there’s tumblr, of course, but i find it all a little overwhelming in its scope, and fandom circles tend to be kind of clique-y with their weird interpersonal politics. i personally vibe much better with, say, an open chat, or a forum/kinkmeme like this one.

i hear people recommend other kinkmemes from time to time but every time i check them out they’re either (a) wildly inactive or (b) wildly broad in interest and unpleasant to plod through.
